Sacred lessons in business

This past week we celebrated four years in business. It has been one of the greatest journeys of our life with some of the most powerful and important lessons learned that haven’t just helped us in MOONWELL, but have also rippled into other areas of our life.

We gathered our thoughts to share with you some of what we’ve learned.

14 Sacred Lessons in Business

  1. Before you get into business partnerships, ask yourself, could I marry this person? So much of what is shared in business is intimate and so is the development of that relationship. Divine feminine business relationships are built on honesty, vulnerability, honouring the seasons and open communication

  2. In business partnerships: know that as your business ebbs and flows, that there will be seasons where one partner takes the reigns for the other and trust that they will have your back

  3. To trust that when you don't hit your goals or expectations that it's an opportunity to see what you need to reconstruct and is an invitation to grow in more alignment

  4. That when your energy and excitement is flowing it will translate, the same is true about your energy when feeling stuck or resistant which usually means you need to stop and pivot.

  5. To trust the pivot as a means of the universe giving you an opportunity to do something bigger

  6. To learn to not be stuck in rigid thought or original business plans as it stifles your ability to see opportunity and make steps towards change

  7. To know that you are not everyone's church

  8. To root down and descend through the mycelium of your community and tap into the energy and speak to its frequency

  9. Getting honest about your individual strengths and how to harness them to be in your greatest alignment and individual + collective vitality

  10. Be in constant conversation of your individual and collective time. When in doubt, HIRE OUT! (Kait, we love you!)

  11. Trust the slow growth and be intentional about who you're calling into your community

  12. Allow for the your business to take a life of its own… fan the flames and don’t try to control it, but rather channel it’s energy

  13. Surrender to the times that you just ain't feeling it-- don't push through something when you don't have the energy

  14. Try to not always be in launch mode. Connect with your community, their needs, wants and desires. You are them and they are you. Don’t define yourself as separate.
