Coven is one of the few places in my life where I actually feel like I belong and I don't have to pretend to be anybody but myself. We are all strong women, with incredible backgrounds; many mothers, students, or working professionals. The topics discussed in Coven are relatable and understandable to women. They meet you right where you are. The online experiences work well for me and my very busy schedules, and the in-person witch camps are enriching and enlightening. The biggest topic that resonated with me was the Mother Wound and realizing how generational trauma greatly impacted my life. Understanding my own generational trauma and the abuse my poor grandmother endured, passed onto my own mother. My grandmother and mother never had a chance. I understand now that my mother did the best with what she knew. It does not excuse their behaviour and abuse directed towards me at all. But I have learned to accept and forgive. The cycle is broken. It stopped with ME.

In the hard, messy and beauty of my life, I believe nothing is more important and impactful than looking inward and pouring deep love, compassion and forgiveness into myself. Gathering with women who are also doing this inner work is profoundly healing, nurturing and grounding. Moon Well's Coven provides the safest, coziest, juiciest space for this work to happen. I have felt held and free when circling with them. If you have felt alone, isolated, ungrounded, curious about plant medicine and traditional ways of healing, need guidance unpacking and detangling the chaos of patriarchy, capitalism, and other forms of oppression on women and marginalized groups this is a place for you. Another thing I love about this format and group is that when you sign up for the year you know ahead of time when you will be gathering. I was able to add the monthly dates into my calendar. This blocked off time was the ideal way for me and my family to prioritize my self-care and burnout prevention/reparation. I highly recommend Coven!

Moonwell has changed the way I view my world, the world around me, and has taught me the strength of sisterhood. This safe, welcoming community created by Lauren and Amanda has promoted my expansion and transformation in so many profound ways. Moonwell creates space for women to heal together through ceremony, engage authentically in sharing what is truly aligned and resonant with us in every season, and reinforces the vitality, strength, and love that comes when a group of women gather and show up for themselves. Circling with women each month virtually has made this possible and accessible for me to gather with women within the comforts of home—hot tea, tissues, candles, journal, and my puppy by my side in my happiest, coziest place. The connection felt between women in this virtual space is deepened for me—in my capacity to hold space, engage in meditation, sit in ceremony, engage with the collective energy, and dive into self exploration. Moonwell has helped me to work through sisterhood wounds that have been with me since childhood, supported me through grief in the hardest moments of my life, and uplifted me through the validation and acceptance that comes from being witnessed and witnessing others within a deeply respectful and inclusive refuge for all women to explore elements of sisterhood, womanhood, intuition, herbal magic, ceremony, shadow, light, and everything in between. I feel genuinely held and validated by the collective, and unbelievably grateful for this community, where women are truly seen and heard. The medicine that comes when women gather is something I hope every woman gets to experience.

Circling with Moonwell over the last two years has been literal (yet virtual) medicine for me, in so many ways. For someone who used to really struggle with public speaking, I found the in person sharing circles to be a little intimidating, and honestly, ungrounding because I was mostly in my head and out of the present moment. Over the last two years I've gained a lot of strength, courage and understanding at just HOW potent sharing your truth (in a safe space) can be. I thoroughly enjoy circling virtually from the comfort of my own home, cuddled up with my favorite blanket, my three different drinks and surrounded by all of my favorite crystals and candles. I always leave circle feeling heard, supported and most importantly, not alone. The sisterhood that I've gained from COVEN and the connections I've made over the last two years is something I am so, so grateful for. Especially now that I've recently moved, I am so thankful it is a virtual offering so I can stay connected with my sisters from across the country on a monthly basis.

Sitting in sisterhood has been amazing, hard, heavy and freeing. I was so fearful of women before this I didn't recognize the strength and the power that a group of women can have. I kick myself sometimes to think I went this long without this in my life in some way or another. Coven has been such a wonderful thing for me and I don't feel any guilt if I can't make it or I am not in a place to sit. It’s judgment free and autonomous and that seems to be a rare thing for women to feel in this day and age (I won't get started on that one lol). I am forever grateful for a friend introducing me to coven and for Amanda and Lauren for putting this dream into action!

Moon Well's monthly coven circles have time and time again brought me into a space of self acceptance, courage, and inner trust. Meeting virtually is surprisingly powerful, as it gives me the time and space to feel connected to sisters across the country... super cool if you ask me! I have been working through deep sister wounds over this past year- and I feel that this space has allowed me to feel that sistership support and feminine influence in times when I needed it the most. I am so grateful for Amanda and Lauren and the space they've created - and can't wait for next year's Coven!

Coven is how I show up for myself. I mark my calendar with the dates and make it a priority. It isn’t fluff, it’s heavy lifting that feeds my soul and helps to bring clarity and refresh me for the next challenge. It is a very easy way to do the work that is necessary to survive and thrive as a woman in this world. The content (even if not clear when I log in) is always somehow just what I needed to focus on. Being able to join virtually I am forever grateful for, as I wouldn’t have otherwise had this amazing opportunity to gather since I live in Calgary. Although hesitant to embrace the online meeting it actually works well as it seems more accessible allowing women to come as they are, wherever they are. Thank you Amanda and Lauren for creating the community I craved and was lacking for so long.

I really enjoy the virtual aspect - although there is so much value in being in person for myself, being my first year in Coven it has given me an opportunity to ease myself into it in the comfort of my own home. Every single topic has helped me in some way even when I didn't think it had and it has made me question and look at things from a completely different lens. There was something missing in my life and I knew it had to do with spirituality and connection and this has pushed me to grow on my own in all areas of my life and has given me tools I was lacking in a time when I needed all the help that I could get.

I am so grateful I decided to take the leap into coven. Since our monthly meetings, I have learned what it means to do shadow work in a safe container of vibey women doing the same. Together we make alchemy out of our deepest wounds. We are seen, we are heard. We all show up as we are, and speak our truth. Each month's topic is so spot on and feels like exactly what I needed to bring into my awareness. Lauren and Amanda are genuine af in what they share. Which feels like a permission slip for me to do the same. When women share the truth, medicine is made. I am left each month with integration tools like herbs, flower essences, and a bunch of notes on how to do the work. I loooove moonwell with my whole self, and feel so lucky to be a part of such a beautiful collective.

Circles have changed my life. Being able to let go, call in, heal and hold space is truly magical. Healing isn't always easy nor linear but having the support from like minded womxn makes me continually show up, and do the work.
